Refund policy
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At CUSTOM PC PRO, every computer we build is tailored to the specific needs and budget of the client. Due to the personalized nature of our work, our return and refund policies differ from standard retail stores. Please read the terms below carefully.
1. DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY
All custom build projects require a $1,000.00 CAD deposit to commence. This deposit secures your place in our build queue and covers the initial labor involved in consultation, part selection, and sourcing.
If you choose to cancel your project before the final build is complete and the final balance is paid, you are eligible for a partial refund of your deposit. The refund will be calculated as follows:
- Refund Amount = Total Deposit ($1,000) minus Labor Costs.
- Labor is billed at a rate of $80.00 CAD per hour for all time spent on the project up to the point of cancellation (including consultation, research, and assembly time).
The remaining balance will be refunded to your original payment method within 5-7 business days of your cancellation request.
2. FINAL SALE ON COMPLETED BUILDS
Once the custom PC is fully assembled, tested, and the final payment has been processed, the transaction is considered Final Sale.
We do not accept returns or offer refunds on completed custom computers.
By making the final payment, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the specifications and performance of the system and accept the product as-is. We do not offer refunds for "change of mind" or incompatibility with software not specified during the consultation phase.
3. HARDWARE DEFECTS & WARRANTY
While the custom build itself is non-refundable, the individual hardware components (CPU, GPU, Motherboard, etc.) are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties.
If a component fails within its manufacturer warranty period, CUSTOM PC PRO will assist you with the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process to get the part repaired or replaced by the manufacturer. Labor fees may apply for the physical removal and re-installation of defective parts after the initial 30-day period.
